Traveling by car from Shkodra City to Komani Lake offers a scenic and adventurous journey through the Albanian countryside. Covering a distance of approximately 50 km, the drive takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on road conditions and traffic.

The route follows the Shkodër – Vau i Dejës – Koman road, passing through picturesque landscapes, small villages, and hilly terrain. While the first part of the journey is on well-paved roads, the last 10-15 km before reaching Komani can be challenging, with narrow and winding mountain roads requiring careful driving. The views along the way, however, make it a rewarding experience.
